Bhutan, also referred to as Druk Yul or the 'Land of the Thundering Dragon', is a small Himalayan nation that has become a popular destination. The name 'Bhutan' possibly originated from the Sanskrit term 'Bhotant', meaning 'the end of Tibet', or 'Bhu-uttan', translating to 'highland'.
